Frontier Dental earns a Great Place to Work® certification for sixth consecutive year

Six years of recognition reflects the company’s continued commitment to creating a culture where employees feel seen, heard and valued

MARKHAM, ON — October 26, 2026 — Frontier Dental, a North American dental supply distributor, is the proud recipient of the Great Place to Work® certification for the sixth consecutive year. The Great Place to Work® certification marks another milestone in the company’s commitment to creating a workplace culture where employees feel respected, recognized and empowered to do their best work.

Globally, employee engagement has declined. A 2026 Gallup report found employee engagement has slid to 20% from its peak of 23% in 2022. Each percentage decline represents nearly 21 million employees (Gallup, 2026).

As organizations continue to navigate challenges surrounding employee engagement and workplace satisfaction, Frontier Dental believes investing in its people is critical to build a strong business that delivers consistent and exceptional experiences for customers.

"Receiving a Great Place to Work certification for the sixth consecutive year is something we're incredibly proud of because it reflects the people who make Frontier what it is," said Daniel Gordon, CEO of Frontier Dental. "Great customer experiences don't happen by accident. They begin with talented, committed people who take pride in what they do. From our warehouse teams ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time, to our customer-facing and support teams helping dental practices every day, every person plays an important role in delivering on our promise to customers. This recognition belongs to all of them."

A Great Place to Work® certification is based on employee feedback and evaluates their workplace experience across five key dimensions of trust including credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

For Frontier, sustaining a positive workplace culture is more than creating an enjoyable work environment. It is about helping employees understand the importance of their contributions and how their work connects to the organization's broader purpose.

“Culture is built through the everyday experiences people have at work and the connections they build with each other,” said Kim Manson, Chief Marketing Officer of Frontier Dental. “As Frontier continues to grow, it's important that every employee understands the value they bring to the business, regardless of their team or department. When people see and understand how their contributions connect to the success of their colleagues, our customers and the organization, it creates a stronger sense of purpose and shared ownership. Recognizing those contributions and strengthening connections across teams are essential to sustaining the culture we've built.”

In 2025, low employee engagement cost the world economy nearly 10 trillion dollars in lost productivity. When employees feel heard and have a sense of belonging, it creates a culture that drives profitability.

Frontier Dental believes culture is developed through the collective participation of employees who contribute ideas, support colleagues and actively help to shape the organization. Culture is a collaborative effort; it is not created by leadership alone.

A central part of this philosophy is creating an environment where employees experience psychological safety, feel comfortable sharing feedback and confident that their perspectives matter.

“Great workplace cultures are built when people feel seen, heard, respected and genuinely included," said Susan Zwaal, Chief Human Resources Officer of Frontier Dental. “Our responsibility is to create the conditions that allow people to thrive, while remaining responsive to their evolving needs. Earning this certification six years in a row is especially meaningful because it is informed by our employees' own experiences. From the ways colleagues collaborate and support one another to the employee-led activities that bring our teams together, each day our people actively contribute to make Frontier a place where they want to work and grow.”

With a global workforce that is feeling increasingly disengaged, Frontier Dental continues to move against the trend, committed to cultivating a strong employee culture through consistent and authentic commitment.
